If I am not mistaken, Chicago’s Color My World was in one of the shows. I’ll have to look through, and it may have been the one that was aired much later, but it was used for a memory sequence and the end of a season.

I don’t recall Chicago’s Color My World in any episode, and it doesn’t show up in any MV lists (which are pretty thorough). Perhaps it was used on one of the Columbia VHS tapes, which occasionally substituted music due to rights issues?

Which reminds me … I have never seen a compilation of the songs which were on the Columbia tapes but not on the original NBC airings.

That is one list I never had the resources to create… the substitute music that was used in the Columbia House series.

I also think that a couple of substitute songs were used during FX’s syndicated run, which came after the first few years of reruns on USA Network.

If someone wants to do the legwork, I’ll be happy to host the info here and give full credit!
