    I posted an entire article about that song, including links to the Wikipedia page for the band, and to a YouTube video for the Miami Vice clip of the song: Red 7: Heartbeat.

    They are not still a band… they only made 2 albums.

    Great tune and great band.

    Which song on the first Mike and Mechanics album did you sing on? I think it was Call to Arms.

    But Heartbeat was a great tune, you need to get that song out there again, havent found it on any music stores yet, maybe I havent looked in the right places.
